We have built many custom homes throughout Salt Lake County, including the Yalecrest, Avenues, and St. Mary’s neighborhoods. We have done many extensive remodels, additions, and renovations. We also do small commercial construction and tenant improvements.

Company History
“B+ is a good grade, but there is always room for improvement”. Wise words from a father doing his best to raise his son. The father was David Lloyd, a respected contractor in Salt Lake County. Those words were spoken to his son Todd Lloyd after he asked his father why he gave him a B+ for work release while working for his dad as a high school senior. Todd Lloyd is the principal owner of TALCON. He still wonders about the B+, but subscribes to the idea of always trying to improve.
Todd Lloyd is a 4th generation builder that started his business in 1984, officially known as Todd A. Lloyd Construction, Inc. AKA TALCON as a dba in the state of Utah. We started as a carpentry and framing business but soon found opportunities to be involved in general contracting.
